Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Sales Executive to work in their leading facility in the South region.

For the successful Sales Executive, our client is offering:

  • Competitive salary £40,000 to £45,000 P/A
  • Attractive Commission structure – Uncapped

The Role – Sales Executive

Promote and sell the organisation's products and services including spare parts and provide technical sales support.

Main tasks & responsibilities for the Sales Executive:

  • Pursue sales leads, visiting existing and new customers to meet sales target levels & report the activities to CRM.
  • Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
  • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Implement new products to the market.
  • Work closely with all divisions on must-win deals with consolidated gross margin calculations, product offerings and customer expectations.
  • Prepared to travel within and outside the UK.
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and in compliance with the company's safety rules/procedures and with regulations and codes of practice.
  • Support the company’s efforts to reduce accidents/incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in Safety Walks, Safety Audits and 5S events, etc. as required.

What our client is looking for in a Sales Executive:

Education:

  • Apprenticeship, University degree or vocational qualification / relevant working experience.

Work Experience:

  • Sales experience within a plant, agricultural equipment industry - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience in customer relationship management - CRM
  • Experience and knowledge of engineering production and or service is also desirable
  • Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to drive and develop equipment/service sales and profitability
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships
  • Negotiation and networking skills
  • High integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent IT literacy, numeracy and analytical skills
