Summary

HTE Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tavoron, has been the region’s leading industrial productivity services company serving the manufacturing and process industries with both equipment and services including compressed air, vacuum, blowers, and cooling water systems. We continue to grow and need an additional team member. We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Outside Sales Representative. Sales professionals are responsible for selling new equipment, parts, and services to their customers and prospects. They must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  1. Sell new equipment, parts, and service to accounts in the assigned territory.
  2. Prospecting for new business and maintaining existing customer relationships.
  3. Achieve sales goals by consistently performing the required daily activities to build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  4. Completing customer needs analysis, identifying pressure points for all accounts.
  5. Develop proposals, product demonstrations, and presentations using available templates.
  6. Develop and maintain expert level of product/application knowledge.
  7. Listen, develop, and understand customer requirements.
  8. Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company-approved databases.
  9. Perform technical/product training for technical personnel at targeted accounts.
  10. Provide design and specification development support to consultants and integrators.

Additional:

  1. Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
  2. Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts.
  3. Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
  4. Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.

Qualifications

Required:

  1. 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  2. 2 or more years of business-to-business outside sales experience.
  3. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  4. An understanding of mechanical systems related to industrial equipment operation.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  6. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

  1. BA/BS in Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience in a similar industry role.
  2. Proven project management skills.
  3. Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems.
