Sales Engineer

Internal Senior Technical Sales Engineer / Estimator / Sales Manager with expertise in forging processes is required to join a long established and successful business. The company is ever expanding and growing through acquisition.

Knowledge of different forging processes is essential for this role. A sales or estimating background is also essential.

They manufacture and sell a wide range of forged products, including offering reverse engineering and replication services and often low volume production runs.

The Role

1. Typically office based with occasional customer visits as required.
2. Pricing and estimating forged components from engineering drawings.
3. Selling a wide range of standard and bespoke components.
4. Quotes and follow up.

Requirements

1. Experience selling similar products is essential; forged components.
2. Applicants must be a qualified mechanical engineer.
3. Several years previous engineering sales or estimating experience is essential.
4. Will have held a similar position; sales engineer, sales manager, estimator.
5. Ability to use Solidworks beneficial.
6. Live locally already.
