As the Sales Director of E-Invoicing Sales at Avalara, you will lead a dynamic and specialized sales team focused on the e-invoicing market. You will hire, coach, and build the newly founded E-Invoicing sales team. Your leadership will shape the future of Avalara's presence in the e-invoicing sector.

You will report to the Senior Director of Global Sales. This position is offered on a remote basis with visits to our Brighton office expected on occasion.
Sales Leadership: Execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored specifically to the e-invoicing market. Collaborate with various teams to align product development and go-to-market efforts to win new business and support expanding existing customer relationships.
Team Building and Management: Build, mentor, and lead a sales team (both inbound and outbound) of specialists, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support necessary to excel in their roles.
Market Expertise: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and regulations related to e-invoicing and transaction taxes. Provide expertise to both your team and our clients.
Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with important clients within the e-invoicing market, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring their success.
Revenue Growth: Set and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving substantial revenue growth for Avalara within the e-invoicing sector.
Collaboration: Foster collaboration with other teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Success, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and client satisfaction.
