Our client is a well-established Fabrication company looking for a Sales Director with a Fabrication/Engineering background. They have lots of existing clients and have dealt with most major players in their market, but are looking for someone with already established relationships to secure repeat work. As a Sales Director, you'll use your technical knowledge of fabrication along with your sales skills and existing address book to provide advice and support on a range of products as the key point of contact for prospective and new clients.

Sales Director - Role and Responsibilities

1. Attend site visits and deal with customer queries when called upon
2. Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements
3. Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery
4. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
5. Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required
6. Analyse costs and sales
7. Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
8. Help in the promotion of custom-made products
