Are you a driven salesperson who has a strong interest in the shipping sector? To increase our client’s footprint in the cutthroat shipping industry, we are looking for a Sales & Development Executive situated in Tilbury, Essex. Creating new business prospects, cultivating customer connections, and propelling growth in the global shipping and logistics industry are all part of this exciting profession.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Finding and creating fresh business prospects in the shipping sector.
  2. Creating and preserving strong relationships with important partners and clients.
  3. Creating and delivering customised shipping and logistics proposals to clients.
  4. Overseeing the complete sales process, from making the first contact to concluding agreements.
  5. Working together to develop lead-generating campaigns with the marketing team.
  6. Participating in conferences, industry events, and networking gatherings to advertise the business.
  7. Conducting market research to remain ahead of industry trends.
  8. Cooperating with operational teams to guarantee that shipping services are carried out efficiently.
  9. Contract negotiations and completion with suppliers and customers.
  10. Handling client feedback and putting service providing enhancements into practice.
  11. Monitoring sales indicators and providing updates on targets' advancement.
  12. Giving leadership information about market opportunities and difficulties.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Demonstrated expertise in business development or sales in the shipping or logistics sector.
  2. Excellent negotiating and communication abilities with the capacity to sway important players.
  3. The capacity to create and implement sales strategies that support organisational objectives.
  4. Familiarity with shipping services, such as logistics, warehousing, and freight forwarding.
  5. Self-driven, capable of hitting sales goals, and driven for outcomes.
  6. Excellent organisational abilities and the capacity to oversee several priorities.
