What are we looking for?
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic graduate to join our fast-paced and dynamic Sales Controlling team. No two days are the same, so we are seeking someone who is eager to learn, has high attention to detail and a passion for analytics. As a Sales Controlling Graduate Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting decision-making by providing detailed data analysis to stakeholders at all levels. You will also have the opportunity to diversify your experience in Finance by supporting areas such as Management Accounting & Data Analytics. As part of a large finance department working within an international company, this role gives you the chance to utilise your potential and take responsibility for guiding key business decisions. Tasks include:
- Preparation and analysis of commercial performance and margins
- Close contact with high-level management to directly impact decision making - Calculation and communication of pricing strategy for new and existing products
- Support in developing customer contracts
- Management of commercial quotes and orders to ensure smooth service to customers
- Provision of ad hoc sales analysis and insights for internal and external stakeholders - Collaboration with a variety of departments to aid problem solving and promote profitability
- Contribution toward team goals for high quality reporting and analysis
What skills should you have?
- A university degree in business or finance preferable
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills and numerical ability - Result focused without losing attention to detail - Entrepreneurial mindset to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
- Inquisitive and finding satisfaction in solving problems
- Clear logical approach to problem solving - Ability to communicate confidently with associates at all levels
- Pro-active approach and willingness to learn from and reflect on mistakes - Flexible approach towards working hours, discipline to schedule own workload - Coping under pressure with tight deadlines
- Additional experience or interests that are valued for the role:
- Good knowledge in BI technologies and Statistics - Interest and knowledge in Programming and Data Science
- Being an “Excel-Wizard” or wanting to become one :)
Expected Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 39 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.00 - 17.00 and Fri 08.00 - 16.00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break
