Robinson Builders Merchant Limited is an independent family run business which has been trading in excess of 20 years. The company has expanded over the past few decades and the company directors are looking to build a strong team who will assist them with the continuation of the company’s growth and development.
Located in Catfoss, Brandesburton the business is easily accessible from Hornsea, Bridlington, Driffield, Beverley, Skirlaugh and all of those villages and hamlets in-between.
The business supplies an array of heavy and light side goods, covering all areas of groundwork, building and landscaping from civils and drainage goods to insulation, plaster, aggregates, bricks and blocks, roofing, paving, electrical, plumbing, workwear products and tools. There is also a steel fabrications arm to the company offering a plethora of metal work options from structural steel to wrought iron railings and gates.
Job Description
Do you work in sales but also have a wide knowledge of building products?
Are you looking to join a close-knit, motivated and expanding business?
In this primarily office-based role you would be working within a small but dynamic sales team, selling a vast array of quality building products to the good people and trades folk of East Yorkshire.
The available position would suit someone with experience in sales and office work but it is essential that they also have a good level of knowledge about the construction industry and building materials.
They need to be an excellent communicator with high levels of customer service and work well with others as well as being self-motivated and able to think on their feet.
The successful candidate will need to be meticulous and proactive in developing customer relations and dealing with orders from creation to fruition.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 4/5pm and alternate Saturday mornings, 8am- 12 noon. There may also be an occasional requirement to attend site visits and networking events, in which a company vehicle would be provided.
