Salary: £11.63 per hour

Location: Basildon

Contracted Hours: A minimum of 8 hours per week

This is a Permanent, Part-time vacancy that will close in a month at 23:59 BST.

The Vacancy

KEY DUTIES:

  1. Optimise sales and individual customer purchases
  2. Engage the customer by delivering a first-class customer service
  3. Operate till and handle financial transactions
  4. Replenish stock with our fantastic products and specialist brands
  5. Assist with deliveries and stock handling on a regular basis - we are busy!
  6. Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties
  7. Ensure compliance with all company procedures
  8. Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement
  9. Responsible for Health and Safety

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM OUR TEAM MEMBERS?

  1. A warm, friendly and engaging personality is essential.
  2. To be highly motivated and have a desire to be the best with energy and enthusiasm to succeed.
  3. A proven ability to work well within a team and to use own initiative.
  4. Ability to adapt to frequent change and a high-pressure environment - you will need to work hard and smart.
  5. Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face customer contact is highly desirable.
  6. Experience in a retail environment with a quality brand is desirable but not essential.
  7. Knowledge and understanding of High Street fashion.

The contracted hours stated above are a minimum guaranteed number of weekly hours but there is an expectation to work more hours and flexibility is required especially during peak trading periods.

Pay Rates: £11.63 per hour regardless of age
