Salary: £27,500

Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm

Prince are working in partnership with a leading global manufacturing company who have a vacancy for a Sales Administrator to join them on a temp-to-perm basis. This will be a great business to work for; they are very successful but maintain family values and a family feel which employees enjoy, whilst working in a professional and collaborative way. Once permanent, the holiday entitlement will start at 23 days plus 8 bank holidays. The role will be based in a busy but friendly sales team and you will provide administrative support in order to aid the delivery of sales targets.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
  • Answer phone and take messages / transfer calls to relevant departments
  • Take incoming sales enquiries and pass to sales team via our Sales software
  • Process all e-commerce orders
  • Process all sales orders / pro forma orders
  • Arrange transportation of orders and check progress through to delivery
  • Contact customers to obtain missing information and provide order / delivery updates
  • Ensure the Sales software is always updated and that daily tasks are set and completed
  • Ensure all job specific working practices are up to date, reviewed and controlled
Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook / Office / Excel
  • Ability to problem solve and use own initiative
  • Team player
  • Proactive and positive work ethic
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
