About The Role

Our Commercial team in Nottingham is looking for a Sales Administrator to join our Nottingham office. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office 3-4 times a week.

Reporting to the CRM Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting a broad range of CRM/Sales support to the immediate and wider business. Working closely with Business Development, Business Services, Operations, and Finance, you will input, manage, review, and update the commercial data in the CRM portion of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, NetSuite, providing data management solutions. Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and managing sales data is highly desirable.

Main duties and responsibilities:

1. Working closely with Business Development, Business Services, Operations and Finance.
2. Generate work reports and update as appropriate for management.
3. Supporting the CRM Manager and Commercial Leadership team on CRM related management and reporting.
4. The role requires the CRM to be updated in real time with: New enquiries, key financial milestones & FTE rates, project start and end dates, departmental resource planning schedules and, updating proposals and existing contracted projects.
5. Update the CRM in a timely, consistent, and high-quality manner.
6. Pro-actively liaise with finance, operations, legal and BD obtaining the latest information to ensure CRM is reflective of the current state of the business.
7. Prepare core information to allow production of full and accurate work orders and amendments.
8. Attend departmental and team meetings, champion the CRM.
9. Contribute to processes and procedures to deliver an enhanced customer journey.
10. Have a high level of awareness of BD interactions with operations, legal and finance.
11. Build a strong relationship with internal customers.
12. Maintain relevant KPIs for accounts for which you are responsible.

Skills & Experience:

1. Excellent administrative skills, ideally within a sales environment - experience working with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, ERP or database management would be advantageous.
2. A keen eye for detail – able to maintain high levels of accuracy.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
4. Methodical and thorough - able to multi-task, organise and prioritise activities in a busy work environment.
5. Able to use own initiative to solve problems and navigate obstacles which arise during the working day.
6. A great team player who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to the team’s success.
7. Highly computer literate, e.g. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and ideally experience working with a CRM system, ERP or database (ideally NetSuite).
