We are a friendly, advanced training practice with 4 partners, 6 salaried GPs, GP trainees, 5 Advanced Clinical practitioners, medical students, pharmacists and an excellent nursing and administrative team.
We would require the successful applicant to work a Monday and Friday, the other working day is negotiable.
As well as delivering the best clinical care to our patient cohort, training the next generation of NHS clinicians is a focus for the practice and as such we are able to provide a supportive environment that fosters teamwork and promotes success.
The post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
In accordance with the Practice timetable, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, home visits, telephone/video consultations and dealing with queries, paperwork, and reports.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic GP to join our team. Northgate Surgery is a friendly and supportive working environment. The Practice has a patient population of 15,600 and is still growing. The Practice is based in the centre of Pontefract and had a large refurb in 2021. Parking is available on site.
We are a training practice and we play an active role in our local PCN and have excellent clinical, admin and management support teams to support the right individual in the role.
