Salaried GP

We are looking for a Salaried GP to come and join our innovative practice.

We are committed to safe and manageable workloads for our Salaried GPs:

• Choice of 10 or 15 minute appointments
• Daily clinical team huddle
• Capped repeat prescription and document workflow

It will be necessary to hold a full driving licence and to have your own transport to travel between sites.

Main duties of the job

Canterbury Medical Practice is a friendly, supportive, training practice which values our staff and supports their development. We look after 24,000+ patients across 3 sites and recently opened a new state of the art premises in our City Hub on the Kent and Canterbury Hospital site.

Our Canterbury PCNs work closely together and have well established Clinical Pharmacy, Social Prescribing, Care Coordinator and MHP teams who together with the practices, deliver a range of services for and with our communities including Enhanced Access, Care Home rounds and MDTs, Frailty MDTs and First Contact Physiotherapy services.

• 24 patient contacts plus maximum 1 home visit in a standard day

• The successful applicant must be qualified at the appropriate level for the role of Salaried General Practitioner
