An established industry player is seeking a Salaried Clinical Research Nurse to join their clinic in Southampton. This role involves overseeing the daily conduct of clinical trials, working both autonomously and as part of a dedicated nursing team. Ideal candidates will have NMC registration and experience in intensive care, with a strong background in clinical research, particularly in respiratory and infectious diseases. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate nurse to contribute to impactful clinical studies while working in a collaborative environment. Immediate start preferred, with a Monday to Friday shift pattern and potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in intensive or critical care is essential.
  • Clinical Research experience, particularly in respiratory and infectious diseases, is ideal.

Job description

Salaried Clinical Research Nurse

Location: Southampton

We are looking for a Salaried Clinical Research Nurse to work within a clinic near Hampshire, Southampton. Please email your full availability, CV and certificate if you would like to be put forward and we will be in touch.

Shift Pattern:

Monday – Friday: 0800 - 1600, with potential for one weekend coverage per month.

Immediate start preferred.

Requirements:

  • NMC registration
  • 3 years experience within intensive or critical care
  • Clinical Research experience ideal, with working on clinical trials and non-interventional studies, preferably with a primary focus on respiratory and infectious diseases.

Role Purpose and Skills:

  • To take responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of clinical trials and tasks allocated by the nurse manager.
  • To be aware of, and work towards meeting the clinical team’s objectives.
  • To be able to work autonomously, remotely and as part of the nursing team.
  • Assisting and supporting the nurse team in providing high standards of nursing care.
  • Conducting study visits in accordance with study protocols.
