Job Title: Safety Engineer – Manufacturing

Job Description

  • Work closely with engineering, facilities, and construction teams to ensure safety is at the heart of all factory and facility designs.
  • Ensure installations and CDM activity is carried out safely.
  • Support site installation teams during build/installation/buy off phases.
  • Support machine and manufacturing line concept reviews to ensure all health and safety aspects are adhered to.
  • Review site plans and layout proposals regarding Health and Safety.
  • Take a pro-active approach to Health and Safety, and strive to improve adherence across all areas of the business, and outside the business, such as contractors and OEMs.
  • Advise and enforce health and safety measures during installation.

Qualifications

  • Proven History of delivering/assisting with H&S in a manufacturing environment.
  • Machine safety sign-off experience.
  • CMSE.
  • A member of a recognized professional body.
  • NEBOSH qualified, preferable.
