Safety and Compliance Manager

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Safety and Compliance Manager for our client in the Bicester area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager with a safety, health, environmental, and quality background to join a market-leading business.

The Role: You will provide safety leadership across the site, being a champion of safety, health, environmental, quality compliance and best practise. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage site safety procedures and compliance systems.
  • Oversee ISO management systems (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, 50001).
  • Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and environmental permits.
  • Provide safety leadership and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks to improve awareness across the site.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH / IOSH qualification (essential).
  • Strong experience in health & safety management within a manufacturing, engineering, or process industry.
  • Experience with ISO standards and audits.
  • Proven ability to drive safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills.
