Our client, a leading provider of housing solutions, is seeking a Safeguarding Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the Safeguarding Quality Assurance Assessor and Regional Safeguarding Leads with administrative tasks.
As the First Point of Contact (FPOC) for safeguarding communications, you will ensure referrals are triaged within agreed timeframes while maintaining accurate records and supporting safeguarding compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the safeguarding of Service Users and the Safeguarding Team.
Act as the First Point of Contact for safeguarding referrals.
Log and track all incoming information and actions taken.
Triage referrals within contracted timeframes (4, 24, or 48 hours).
Consult with Safeguarding Leads and Safeguarding Quality Assurance Assessors as needed.
Record and track meeting actions and follow-ups.
Maintain records in line with company policies and safeguarding procedures.
Forward referrals to the appropriate personnel for action.
Track High Profile Notifications (HPNs) and ensure proper case signposting.
Required Skills & Experience:
GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
Experience in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities.
Understanding of risk management and safeguarding practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience in office management and handling shared inboxes.
Strong administration, coordination, and record-keeping skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high volumes of requests remotely.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Solution-focused, with a positive and professional approach.
Desirable:
Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
Proven experience in a safeguarding role within a local authority, healthcare, or education setting.
Experience managing safeguarding referrals is an advantage.
