Position: Safeguarding Practitioner

Shift Pattern: 3 days, Monday – Wednesday

Pay Rate: £27ph

Responsibilities:

1. To be knowledgeable of Safeguarding Adults and Children agenda, with specific knowledge of the Domestic Abuse agendas including Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence, PREVENT, modern slavery and human trafficking.
2. To provide specialist advice and support to all Trust staff on a day-to-day basis with the support of the clinical nurse specialists relating to the Safeguarding Adults agenda, whilst managing the reputation of the Trust.
3. To demonstrate wider knowledge of Safeguarding adults, supporting and providing cover for Adult Safeguarding Nurse Specialists in their absence.
4. To identify learning needs for CWP staff/services and participate in developing or to deliver training appropriate teaching packages.
5. To deputise for the Safeguarding Adult Nurse Specialists during absence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Fully enhanced valid DBS
2. Must have nursing or social work qualification.
3. A minimum of 12 months post qualification experience is desired.
4. Ability to travel across Cheshire & Wirral Partnership footprint.

Rate Breakdown:

£27ph LTD | PAYE Inclusive: £24.29

We offer a £250 bonus for starting a contract with SCS.
