SAFe Agile Scrum Program Manager

Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the Agile Team Lead.
2. Coordinate all activities required to complete each user story as defined in the Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done.
3. Work with Product Owner to decompose user stories and identify story acceptance criteria.
4. Identify all tasks required to complete each story.
5. Show traceability and dependencies among requirements (Epics, Themes, Stories, and Tasks) and systems; facilitate scrum and agile events.
6. Collaborate with the technical personnel for metrics reporting.
7. Support product roadmap development.
8. Leverage roadmap to organize the Backlog and prioritize work.
9. Deliver monthly report summarizing the number of new, active and closed requirements.
10. Facilitate all sprint planning meetings.

Qualifications

1. Active Secret Clearance
2. Bachelor's Degree with a discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline
3. Three (3) years plus in SAFe and Agile Implementation and Coaching.
4. Experience in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle (e.g., analysis, design, development, testing and deployment), leading and managing Agile scrums, decomposing requirements into user stories, and leading daily sprint activities.
5. Skilled in the current versions of baseline Microsoft products (Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and professional communication via written, telephonic, interpersonal, and electronic means.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $66,100.00/Yr. - USD $139,300.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
