Job description

RPA Developer - Milton Keynes

Full-time, permanent position with a minimum of 1 day per week in our Milton Keynes office.

Salary: Starting from £39,411, with a company car scheme that includes a brand-new car from day one, 2 additional vehicles for family members after 6 months, an annual discretionary bonus, salary review, and 27 days holiday.

Are you an experienced and forward-thinking RPA Developer that can support our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) journey? You will design, develop, and implement innovative automation solutions using RPA technologies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, create detailed process documentation, and ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of RPA bots.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and gather detailed requirements.
  2. Utilize our RPA toolset to develop, test, and implement efficient, maintainable, and easily understandable automation solutions.
  3. Regularly monitor and maintain RPA robots, promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime.
  4. Work closely with Business Analysts, change agents, and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and comprehensiveness of business requirements in Process Design Documents (PDDs).
  5. Create and maintain essential automation documentation, including Solution Design Documents, IDPs, Handover Documents, etc.
  6. Ensure that RPA solutions comply with organizational policies and security standards.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of changes into the overall business process landscape.
  8. Generate performance reports from automation tools to support benefit realization.
  9. Participate in sprint ceremonies, capturing, analyzing, and understanding potential impacts, risks, issues, gaps, and assumptions.
Qualifications:
  1. Strong analytical skills to assess complex processes and identify automation opportunities.
  2. Proven technical experience in designing, developing, and implementing RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath or Power Automate.
  3. Certification in RPA tools UiPath is mandatory; Power Platform is desirable.
  4. Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on RPA development.
  5. Experience working with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  6. Hands-on experience with process analysis, design, and optimization.
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated in previous roles.
  8. Experience in managing and supporting RPA robots in a production environment.
  9. Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  10. Previous experience in Financial Services, Automotive Finance, or Retail Consumer Finance (B2C) is beneficial.
  11. Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, VB, Python, PowerShell, HTML, CSS; database technologies like MySQL, Oracle; version control systems like Git; and cloud platforms like Azure.
