Working with a team of specialist dietitians, rotational dietitians, nutrition nurses and therapy assistants, you'll be offered rotations in neurology and elderly care, surgery (including parenteral nutrition), respiratory, critical care, gastroenterology and community nutrition.
A full competency-led training and support package will be provided to ensure you can develop your clinical skills in as many different areas as you wish in reaching your full potential, and developing a career that's right for you. For newly qualified dietitians we implement the BDA Preceptorship Program shaping that first year as a dietitian in a way that is supportive and nurturing.
You'll have a varied caseload of patients and will support our team in training, take part in staff teaching, help in audit and service developments.

We are looking to recruit a registered dietitian with an interest in a clinical rotational dietetic post across both the acute and community setting based at the Countess of Chester Hospital and surrounding community. Applicants should be motivated to expand on their knowledge and skills in a variety of clinical specialities.

There are opportunities to work alongside specialist and advanced dietitians and nutrition nurses and provide a leadership role with dietetic assistants. There will also be opportunity to be involved in student training.
