Job description

The effective scheduling and rostering of airport staff is critical to ensuring seamless operations. As an Airport Rostering Analyst, you will optimise the allocation of staff resources to meet business needs while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation. With proven experience in analytics and planning, you will play a pivotal role in producing and managing rosters and schedules, maintaining an efficient balance between operational demands and resource availability.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. Propose and implement initiatives to reduce labour costs, such as minimising overtime requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain a communications strategy to keep all levels of airport staff informed about scheduling and rostering updates.
  3. Support teams with data analysis requests and contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Support Airport teams on applications for flexible working time arrangements, from a rostering/planning perspective.
  5. Create and maintain optimised rosters that align with service levels, business demands, and allocated budgets.
  6. Coordinate and lead scheduling efforts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of rosters, leave processing, staff changes, and query resolution.
  7. Monitor staffing demands across various skillsets and ensure workforce numbers adapt to changing requirements.
  8. Incorporate training schedules into rosters and liaise with Training and Compliance teams to ensure smooth integration.
  9. Arrange temporary staff through third-party providers and authorise related timesheets.
  10. Perform risk assessments when resources are insufficient and develop business continuity practices.
  11. Assist with various ad hoc duties as reasonably required from time to time.
Qualifications And Experience

  1. At least 1 year of experience in analytics or planning field.
  2. Strong understanding of workforce planning principles and capacity planning tools.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel (advanced level required), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  4. Previous experience in a scheduling or rostering environment is highly desirable.
  5. Demonstrated experience working in a business environment, showcasing an ability to adapt to operational challenges and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

CTC Clearance will be required for this role.
