About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Room Attendant to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • To ensure that all areas assigned are cleaned and maintained to the required standard, including guest bedrooms and bathrooms, guest corridors, skirting, and furniture, fixtures, coverings, and fittings.
  • To be fully aware of the work schedule and provide adequate notice if all work cannot be carried out.
  • To report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunction, maintenance faults, suspicious persons, safety hazards or other incidents immediately to the supervisor or the duty Manager.
  • To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required.
  • To attend training and meetings as required.
  • To assist in maximizing productivity for the Department.
  • To follow the Health and Safety manual handling and COSHH procedures closely.
  • To take any lost property immediately to the Housekeeping Office to be recorded for safe return to the owner.
  • To deliver requests to guests in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • To ensure that all guest and colleague areas are clean and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance, as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a 5-star luxury property, preferably in London.
  • Team player who works collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with both guests and fellow staff members.
  • Previous experience as Housekeeping Porter desirable.
  • A keen eye for detail is crucial, ensuring that every aspect of guest rooms and public areas is immaculate.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills, being attentive to guest needs and responsive to requests.
