Roofer to Work Nationwide - From Derby Head Office

An excellent opportunity has opened for a self-starter, motivated roofer to work with a specialist refurbishment company servicing clients nationwide on roofing surveys, repairs, and improvements.

The role would suit someone looking to go to the next level in their career who is comfortable working in a team but equally proficient at working unsupervised and making this new role their own. This work is NATIONWIDE and requires a driving license and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, or metal
2. Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
3. Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
4. Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
5. Ensure roofs are properly waterproofed and insulated
6. Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
7. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights

Experience:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a roofer
2. Proficient in using roofing tools and equipment
3. Knowledge of different roofing materials and their installation techniques
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
5. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve roofing issues
6. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and installations
7. Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials
