Job Title: Roofer/Solar Installer (Contract Basis)

Location: Darlington

Rate of Pay: £160-£200 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Roofer/Solar Installer to join our team on a contract basis for our client, a leading renewables company based in the North East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and some experience in solar panel installation, with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

THIS IS AN IDEAL OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE SOLAR INDUSTRY

The ideal candidate would be someone looking to build on their solar experience with a view to securing work on the higher paid Solar Farm contracts in the area.

Responsibilities:

1. Install solar panels on commercial rooftops
2. Perform roofing work, including repairs and new installations
3. Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations
4. Conduct site assessments and prepare roofs for solar panel installation
5. Work collaboratively with other team members and subcontractors
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
7. Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service
8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a roofer and some experience as a solar installer
2. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols
