Roofer- Social Housing

About Us:
Our client is a reputable social housing provider committed to maintaining high-quality living standards. They are looking for a skilled and reliable roofer with experience in social housing projects to join our dedicated reactive maintenance team.

Role Overview:
As a Roofer with social housing experience, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing roofs on tenanted residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain roofs, gutters, and other related roofing systems on social housing properties.
2. Diagnose and resolve roofing issues efficiently and to a high standard.
3. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
4. Work with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time.
5. Communicate effectively with tenants to ensure minimal disruption during repairs or maintenance.
6. Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or additional repairs required.
7. Assist with inspections and assessments of roofing systems as part of ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Proven experience in roofing, particularly in social housing environments.
2. Knowledge of different roofing systems, including flat roofs, pitched roofs, and guttering.
3. Ability to work at heights and in a range of weather conditions.
4. Valid roofing qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) and relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, First Aid, Working at Heights). Desirable but not essential.
5. Strong attention to detail and high standards of work.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. A full UK driving license is essential.
