A Social Housing Client of ours have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Roofer to join their busy, high-performing Responsive Repairs Team. This is a full-time position with 38 hours per week, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

MUST HAVE SOCIAL HOUSING AND ROOFING EXPERIENCE

About the Role: We are looking for a roofer with a positive, enthusiastic personality and a strong focus on customer service. You will bring attention to detail and contribute positively to your role and team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in roofing, with the necessary skills and certifications to perform work safely and efficiently.

Essential Requirements:

1. PASMA and TETRA certifications
2. CSCS Card
3. Asbestos Awareness
4. Relevant NVQ in the Roofing trade
5. Proven experience in roofing, with a strong understanding of industry best practices
6. Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise work effectively
7. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
8. Ability to meet deadlines while working in a conscientious, tidy, and self-motivated manner
9. Good written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out repairs to both pitched and flat roofs
2. Perform pointing and flaunching to chimney stacks
3. Clean and realign guttering
4. Renewal of felt, batten, and tiles
5. Renewal/repairs to fascia and gutters
6. Loft insulation works
7. Installation of lead work to roofs and valleys
8. Undertake basic multi-skilling tasks such as pointing, vent fitting, basic ground work, and unblocking gully's/ACO drains

Additional Information:

The successful candidate will be provided with a tablet device for work dispatch. You will undertake a range of roofing repairs and be expected to assist with basic multi-skilling tasks as part of your daily duties.
