Hours: 37 hours per week

Our client, a leading provider of social housing services, has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Roofer to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary of £33,551.00 along with additional company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out full roofing duties
2. Surveying and correctly placing slates/tiles in isolated patches
3. Removing old roof coverings and replacing them on all styles of roofs
4. Re-bedding and renewing hip and ridge tiles
5. Repairing and replacing lead valleys
6. Pointing, repairing, and rebuilding chimney stacks, as well as re-bedding/renewing chimney pots
7. Repairing mineral felt and asphalt flat roof coverings
8. Renewing and repairing lead flashing to chimneys and lead upstands
9. Liaising with customers to arrange and carry out work, considering their needs and following written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, and measurements using equipment

What we are looking for:

1. City and Guilds Parts I, II or NVQ Level 2 in Roofing
2. A valid driving license is essential
3. Previous Social Housing Experience
4. Professional attitude and approach to work
