Rock Lake United Church Camp – Program Director/Youth Worship Leader

Rock Lake United Church Camp Inc. is a summer camp affiliated with the United Church of Canada providing camping experiences for children aged 7-13 years old. The camp is located on the north shore of Rock Lake, approximately 150 km. southwest of Winnipeg. Our goal is to provide youth with a fun-filled camping experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. Some of the camp activities include kayaking, archery, canoeing, hiking, nature science, dramas and skits, dances and campfires.

Dates of Employment: June 30 - August 8, 2025

Compensation: Full Time $700/week (includes room and board)

Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Have camp experience
  • Show leadership in planning daily programs and themes
  • Basic First Aid and CPR training

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Establish and maintain a schedule for leadership of games, crafts, and worship (aligned with the United Church of Canada theology) appropriate for a variety of age groups
