Requirements:

  1. Registered Nurse (RN) license
  2. Clinical expertise and experience in a healthcare setting.
  3. Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD) or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess staff learning needs and develop educational programs.
  2. Facilitate training sessions on various topics, including clinical skills and regulatory compliance.
  3. Evaluate nursing staff's clinical competence and create personalized education plans.
  4. Develop orientation programs for new hires to ensure they understand hospital policies and procedures.
  5. Coordinate continuing education opportunities and certifications for ongoing professional development.
  6. Collaborate with quality improvement teams to address patient care concerns and enhance quality.
  7. Ensure nursing staff comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
  8. Keep staff informed about healthcare advancements, evidence-based practices, and regulatory changes.
