An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced midwife to join the Women's Health Safety Team as the Risk Management Midwife at University College Hospital Foundation Trust on a fixed term basis.
The job role will involve collaborating with the Matron for Governance and Safety and the wider multidisciplinary team to lead on locally and nationally identified risk management and improvement projects whilst supporting implementation of the national maternity agenda. The role will include developing a learning-based culture within women's health services by leading on the implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) across all incident management processes and governance structures.
Your ability to identify risk, support change in clinical practice, and to maintain high standards, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to the role. Alongside knowledge and understanding of a systems-based approach to patient safety and investigations.
