As our Risk, Insurance and Compliance Manager you'll play an important role in ensuring the continued effective operation of Southern Co-op.
We are seeking someone who can understand our business, can develop sensible approaches and facilitate genuine buy-in from colleagues and stakeholders. Moreover, we are seeking someone who understands that delivering these business areas is more than just writing a policy and expecting others to follow it. This is a broad and varied role, so if you haven't got experience in all these business areas, we will support you with the development you need.

What to expect..
- Manage insurance including policies, renewals, claims process.
- Manage our licensing regime, helping to ensure we have the right licenses for our business.
- Accountable for the management of licensing requirements.
- Be responsible for the development of our Business Continuity framework.
- Support the compliance monitoring activities on our FCA Regulated business.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and departments.
What we're looking for..
- Experience of Enterprise Risk Management and delivery.
- Involvement in managing or supporting Business Continuity.
- Experience dealing with insurance policies, claims handling, loss adjusters.
- Awareness of Internal Audit and Compliance functions, objectives and methodologies.
- Experience in developing and delivering plans to identify and fulfil compliance requirements.
- Strong organisation & analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Be proficient in Excel and comfortable navigating IT systems.
- Possess excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
