Risk & Compliance Manager – Commodities

Up to £82,000 per annum + 15% bonus, dependent upon experience

1 day a week in the City of London office

Audit & Risk Recruitment are delighted to be working with a client in the financial services sector to hire a Risk & Compliance Manager. Our client is private equity-backed and recently separated from a larger entity. It’s an entrepreneurial, fast-paced business with operations that span technology, commodities trading and information services.

You will join a team reporting to the Head of Risk and Compliance, with a dotted line to the General Counsel. You will be responsible for the Risk Management framework and Compliance Advisory framework. Day to day you will help to influence stakeholders within the business to foster a culture of risk and compliance awareness and adherence. Key projects you’ll work on will include supporting with IOSCO and EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) compliance, project-based work on insurance and business continuity as well as process improvements. There’s lots of variety in this role, making it an exciting prospect for a risk and compliance specialist to broaden their knowledge and experience base.

The ideal candidate will be a Risk and/or Compliance specialist with experience in regulated industries, preferably financial services. Knowledge of IOSCO and BMR compliance will be very highly regarded, but experience of building compliance frameworks inclusive of other financial regulations should suffice.
