Crone Corkill is working on a rare opportunity for a driven Risk and Compliance expert to join the internal team of a well-established London Law firm in their central London office on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Head of the department, you will work in a high-performing team of eight.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Manage the central onboarding process and deliver services aligned with the firm's strategic priorities while proactively making improvements to the gatekeeping function.
2. Line management of the central onboarding team.
3. Allocate and delegate work across the team to ensure both the client and matter onboarding processes are upheld to a high standard.
4. Perform Quality Assurance checks.
5. Draft escalation reports in accordance with the firm's policies.
6. Oversee the shared compliance inbox and ensure that requests are actioned in line with the company's SLAs.
7. Assist the MLRO in dealing with compliance queries.
8. Maintain and monitor Central Registers and provide regular management information reports to the Head of Compliance.
9. Deliver training and support to the central onboarding team, providing guidance to the legal teams and other business support teams on internal processes and procedures.
10. Manage third-party accounts.
11. Administer regular compliance events.
12. Coordinate projects and assist the HoC in managing cross-functional improvements within the business.

About You

1. Minimum of 4 years in a management position within the field of Risk & Compliance.
2. Previous experience in the Legal sector.
3. An energetic & detail-oriented approach to commercial challenges.
4. Proven qualifications in Compliance and AML.
5. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt this to different stakeholders and parties involved to maintain positive working relationships.
