We're currently working with a brilliant leading top 100 City Law firm, with an international client base spanning multiple jurisdictions. They are now looking for someone to join them as Risk and Compliance Manager, leading an existing team of Compliance Officers and Senior Officers. If you thrive in improving processes and tackling complex compliance challenges head-on, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The role involves running the central onboarding function, ensuring the firm stays on top of regulations, and supporting the Head of Compliance with the day-to-day running of the compliance function. We are looking for someone to bring fresh ideas and help continue to shape the firm's compliance strategy and culture.

The Role:

• Managing & mentoring the central onboarding team – leading from the front.
• Overseeing client & matter onboarding, ensuring compliance.
• Handling compliance queries and supporting the MLRO.
• Keeping key registers updated and delivering management reports.
• Training teams on compliance best practices and firm policies.
• Running quality checks, reviewing reports, and handling escalations.
• Driving compliance projects and process improvements.

About You:

• 5+ years in compliance & risk, ideally in a law firm or financial services.
• Team leadership experience – great at motivating and managing people.
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and legal risk management.
• Problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident communicator who can handle sensitive information discreetly.
• A degree and AML qualifications are a big plus!
