Risk and Compliance Manager

We are looking for a Risk & Compliance Manager who would like to be part of an exciting UK organisation. We are at the heart of making sure energy, green energy initiatives, net zero & positive change for the climate through energy savings initiatives are at the forefront of the UK market.

Due to recent demands, we are urgently looking for a Fixed Term Contract (6 months initially; potential to go perm) Risk & Compliance Manager to support the Group FD & manage a small compliance team (4).

Title: Risk & Compliance Manager

Location: Offices in Central London & Edinburgh. Close to either or fully remote is totally fine by us! This can be fully remote or office hybrid if near these locations.

Salary: £50K - £55K Basic + Bens (pro-rata 6 months FTC, with potential to go permanent / extend)

Ideally, we would like someone available immediately but will consider notice periods.

To be considered & to give you some idea of what we’d be looking for, see below:

• Track record in a similar role, with evidence of developing, implementing and maintaining robust risk and compliance frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection.

Desirable:

• Has worked in compliance and risk at a strategic level.
• Understanding of ISO27001, 9001 and 14001 processes.
• Experience in sustainability, net zero or energy sectors.
