Opportunity for a Risk Analyst (Sizewell C) working with Balfour Beatty on the Sizewell C Project,
Main Duties:
- Facilitate in the identification, assessment, and management of risks to the delivery of the project, including Threats and Opportunities to both Schedule and Cost.
- Maintenance and updating of the projects risk portfolio.
- Performing Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA), as required by the project.
- Facilitate in the identification, assessment, and collection of the project's assumptions, and their coordination with their corresponding risks and opportunities.
- Internal reporting of risk to the business or the client, to inform management decisions and fulfil cyclical reporting requirements of the project.
- Maintenance of internal risks within its internal risk database (IRIS).
- Producing the required submission data and documents for the governance process.
Qualifications/Experience:Essential- Have experience working in a major projects environment, including familiarity with the commercial, project management, estimating and planning disciplines.
- Ability to facilitate risk sessions and be proactive in obtaining updates to risk data from the necessary individuals and Subject Matter Experts.
- High level of proficiency in Excel and good attention to detail in handling/manipulating data sets.
- Collaborative team player, able to support and work together as part of a cohesive team, as well as proactive in completing individual tasks.
Desirable- Competence with industry risk software such as PRA, @Risk, Safran or similar.
- Competence with web-based risk database tool(s), e.g., ARM, Xactium etc.
- Hold a degree in a relevant technical or management field or have suitable experience in a risk delivery role.
