RFIC Design Technical Manager

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for an RFIC Design Technical Manager to join a leading satellite communications company based in the Thames Valley, UK.

In this role, the RFIC Design Technical Manager will be responsible for approximately 80% management (both people and technical oversight) and 20% hands-on involvement in the design and architecture of RF blocks.

The successful RF IC Design Technical Manager will have:

1. A minimum of 10 years’ RFIC Design experience with proven technical leadership experience
2. A strong background in RFIC Design in CMOS up to 30GHz including some or all of the following: PA (power amplifiers), LNAs, Mixers, Filters, Phase Shifters, DACs, bandgaps, LDOs, and switches
3. A strong knowledge of IC design CAD tools such as Cadence Virtuoso (Spectre RF)
4. Experience in the use of LAB RF measurement equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNAs)
5. Excellent communication skills in English

You will ideally be required to be on-site 4 days a week in the office.
