RF Product Application Support Engineer

Location: Cambridge, UK / The Netherlands
Department: Sales and Marketing
Job Type: Full-Time



About the Role:

A growing semiconductor start-up is seeking an RF Product Application Support Engineer with a strong RF background and experience working with global mobile phone OEMs. The role focuses on driving technical acceptance of innovative RF solutions, supporting customers through evaluations and design-in processes, and collaborating with internal teams to develop technical resources.

The position requires frequent global travel to customer sites.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customers in evaluating and integrating RF solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to secure product acceptance.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop tools and technical data.
  • Troubleshoot challenges and persistently drive solutions.
  • Act as a technical advocate, ensuring customer needs are met.


Key Requirements:

  • Strong RF engineering background with experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience working with global mobile phone OEMs.
  • Knowledge of antennas, RF testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred:

  • Semiconductor industry experience.
  • Familiarity with customer support tools and processes.
