Job Description
Calibration of RF and EMC test equipment in the frequency range of 9 kHz to 40 GHz
Undertake investigations of equipment that has failed calibration and effect repairs where appropriate
Carry out and supervise calibrations for customers at their premises
Achieve and maintain the relevant competence levels
Perform validation and verification work as required
Creation and maintenance of calibration procedures
Perform calibration development work under supervision of the Calibration Laboratory Manager
Perform all duties in accordance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 as appropriate
Perform any other duties which may be reasonably expected of the post holder
Mentor and/or supervise calibrations carried out by other calibration staff where appropriate
Ensure that the engineer carries out their duties in accordance with all Eurofins ETC policies, procedures and processes, including, but not limited to, the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974)
Qualifications
HNC/Degree Electronics (or above)
Significant work experience in Electronics (Design or Manufacturing)
Previous RF calibration experience within a UKAS calibration lab (Desirable, but not essential)
