Job description

An exciting opportunity for an Interim Reward Specialist- 11 months. Our client is a dynamic, fast-paced commercial, multi-site business seeking an experienced Interim Reward Specialist to join their team in Milton Keynes. This role is pivotal in managing and supporting various reward processes and ensuring data accuracy across multiple systems. Five days per week on site for the first 6 months, then 3 days a week on site and two days based from home.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Annual Salary Review management:
    • Manage and support the Annual Salary Review for management and support colleagues.
    • Own the data within the Rewards system.
    • Review manual Salary Review spreadsheets to identify potential errors or disputes.
    • Update the Rewards' system accurately and collaborate with the wider business on best practice outcomes.
    • Oversee and support the Annual Salary Review for operational colleagues, ensuring data is provided by required deadlines and pay reviews are completed accurately.
  2. Private Medical Insurance (PMI) Renewal:
    • Liaise with external suppliers regarding data accuracy.
    • Analyse data to ensure correct terms are applied to each employee.
    • Provide Finance and Payroll with exact data for charges and P11D values.
    • Communicate effectively with all employees and ensure accurate logging of data returns and amendments.
  3. Annual Bonus Review Support:
    • Assist with the coordination of the annual bonus review.
  4. Gender Pay Gap Reporting:
    • Own and manage the Gender Pay Gap reporting.
    • Ensure legal compliance in terms of data inclusion and publishing timelines.
    • Provide gap analysis and present proposals to business leaders.
    • Work with external suppliers to prepare the final report and update HMRC.
    • Ensure the organisation's website is updated with the final report and supporting data.
  5. External Salary Survey Submissions:
    • Complete annual data submissions to Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, and XpertHR with high data accuracy.
  6. Life Assurance Data Analysis:
    • Conduct annual life assurance data analysis for external brokers.
    • Ensure data provided is complete, current, and accurate by liaising with UKHR team members and managers.
  7. BUPA Renewal Process:
    • Own the annual BUPA renewal process for members.

Monthly/Quarterly Responsibilities:
  1. Provide accurate data to Finance and Payroll for monthly PMI joiners and amendments.
  2. Analyse life assurance data quarterly to provide relevant information to internal stakeholders.
  3. Conduct quarterly data audits to ensure internal data for company cars and HR is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications:
  1. You must have experience as a Reward Specialist.
  2. You must be an experienced user of MS Excel.
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in data sets.
  4. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
  5. Proficiency in using reward management systems and manual data processes.
  6. Knowledge of legal compliance related to gender pay gap reporting.
