Job Title: Reward & Recognition Manager

Salary: Up to £70,000

Location: Based from Exeter / Shoreham / Birmingham / Manchester (Hybrid: 3 days office - 2 days WFH)

The Reward & Recognition Manager will deliver and manage an impactful reward programme across Focus Group.

You will design, build and deliver a compensation and benefits structure for the business, reporting to the CPO and partnering with the People, Finance and Leadership teams to develop reward that aligns with business strategy, is inclusive, and retains and motivates core talent.

The role:

  • Develop a OneFocus compensation strategy, resulting in a detailed and clear plan & outline how we reward our employees. This should be aligned with our business goals, focused on driving performance and ensuring that compensation practices are fair and competitive.
  • Aligning Focus career structures to salary benchmarking and embed a OneFocus approach to determining and managing salaries.
  • Review short- and long-term incentives with an immediate task to design a Group wide OneFocus bonus scheme that is linked to business objectives and individual performance.
  • Review and manage the OneFocus benefits offering.
  • Act as a Reward Partner, providing subject matter expertise to the wider people team and managers across the Group.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the annual compensation (salary and bonus) process including timeline, communication, training, data management, analysis and reporting.
  • Partner with Finance and business leaders on budget management, with the People Business Partners on providing guidance and support to managers and with the People Operations team on payroll changes.
  • Design and build out a Group compensation structure, aligning with business strategy and ensuring both market and regional competitiveness and internal equity.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive experience in the design, administration and management of employee benefits, compensation structures and total reward
  • Experience of setting up benchmarking systems and processes and development of policy/approach to compensation
  • Proven ability in project management and change management.
  • Excellent data management and analytical skills, advanced excel skills.
  • An ability to operate in a broad role – developing strategy, designing frameworks and proposals as well as managing annual salary review and bonus processes, manipulating/managing data and providing day to day reward advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex information in a simple, clear manner.
  • Strategic thinking, commerciality and problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate this into an engaging and robust delivery plan.
  • An agile approach to work with the ability to focus on the areas that add the most value.
  • Technology or telecommunications experience preferred.
