Job Description

A unique opportunity if you’re looking for a role that combines your analytical aptitude, project management prowess and great people skills. In this high-profile position you will be the global subject matter expert on PA’s short-term incentives – multimillion pound bonus plans that help attract, motivate and retain ingenious people. If you love working with numbers, have a keen eye for detail and have experience building strong relationships from the C-suite down, this could be the role for you.

Part of the Global Reward team, you will manage the bonus workstream of the year-end reward review, alongside your counterparts leading the performance and salary workstreams. This will involve running Excel models for four bonus schemes covering 4,000+ PA people, ensuring that the plan rules are implemented correctly, that any changes to parameters are correctly and swiftly updated, and that the final output of each individual’s bonus communication is accurate.

Supported by your colleagues in the Global Reward team – including the Senior Reward Specialist and Global Reward Manager – you’ll achieve this by collaborating with stakeholders including the CFO, CPO and other C-suite members. You’ll have influence and will need credibility, tact and excellent rapport building.

Key accountabilities:

  • Project manage PA's global bonus process to deliver timely and accurate payment of bonuses.
  • Engage senior stakeholders on the bonus process.
  • Conduct analysis to review bonus plans and develop initiatives to improve them.
  • Support wider Reward projects – for example, base pay and benefits.
  • Produce regular management information reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with complex numerical data, identifying, and communicating key themes, concerns and insights to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, ideally of cyclical reward processes.
  • Experience in or significant exposure to an international reward team.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, with a strong foundation in the principles of data management and accuracy.
  • Aptitude for the running of mathematical models across large datasets, ensuring consistency and attention to detail throughout.
  • Experience with databases, and an aptitude for learning and understanding technical applications and tools, including bespoke IT systems.
  • Experience of actively engaging & advising stakeholders, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage conflicting demands, shifting priorities and demanding time schedules whilst applying high attention to detail.
  • Degree in a numerate subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Determined, proactive and flexible approach.
  • Tact and integrity.
