CAD TECHNICIAN

Location: Petham, Kent
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reporting to: Design Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled CAD Technician to join a dynamic team based in Petham, just outside Canterbury. This role involves working on various CAD-related tasks, including schematics, as-installed drawings, minor sketches, and sheeting/tagging 2D CAD drawings from Revit models.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS

  1. Produce and update CAD drawings, including schematics and as-installed drawings.
  2. Work on minor sketches and sheeting/tagging 2D CAD drawings from Revit models.
  3. Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and company requirements.
  4. Collaborate closely with Revit engineers, design teams, and other project stakeholders.
  5. Interpret specifications, schedules, and technical submittals accurately.
  6. Work to deadlines, ensuring high-quality outputs.
  7. Maintain flexibility and adaptability within a fast-paced work environment.

REQUIREMENTS
  1. Experience in AutoCAD MEPH and Microsoft Office products.
  2. Basic understanding of Revit.
  3. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently with provided information and specifications.
  5. Own transport is required due to office location.
  6. Ability to travel to the office daily.

WORKING HOURS
