Job Summary

A dynamic and detail orientated person to play a key role in maximising the revenue and profitability of the resort. The ideal candidate will support in analysing data and trends, monitor and assist in the maintenance of a pricing strategy and support in optimising occupancy and rates across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing revenue management strategies
  • Monitor competitor pricing, market demand, and other external factors to make pricing recommendations.
  • Review of daily figures for all areas of the Resort to ensure all postings and pick up are correct. To investigate, to resolve any queries and support the Commercial Scorecard.
  • Managing guest mix to maximise revenue supporting all areas of the business with specific focus on rooms on spa.
  • Identify potential challenges and growth opportunities making recommendations to the Assistant Revenue Manager.
  • Help maintain and update distribution channels and booking engine.
  • Configuration of the PMS including Spa and ResDiary ensuring rates, availability and experiences are correct.
  • Work with the Business Support Executive to ensure corporate rates are loaded and accessible on the Booking Engine
  • Management of Staff Booking availability for hotel, restaurants and spa.
  • Carry out further analysis of the business as required and requested by the Assistant Revenue Manager.
  • Contributing to the creation of experiences including seasonal offers to maximise revenue at need dates.
  • Provide administrative support to the revenue management team as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and to be fully aware of budgeted and actual departmental financial targets.

Qualification And Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in revenue, reservations or a related role in the hospitality industry would be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency with Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
