Retrofit Assessor

Our client is a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 250 staff, providing expert services in architecture, building surveying, project management, cost consultancy, M&E, structural engineering, and sustainability. They are at the forefront of delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions for the built environment, working with public and private sector clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Retrofit Assessor to join their South East London office, focusing on residential retrofit projects across London to improve energy efficiency and sustainability in existing housing stock.

Retrofit Assessor - Salary & Benefits

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 (DOE).

Retrofit Assessor - Job Overview

1. Conducting retrofit assessments on residential properties across London.
2. Gathering data on building fabric, heating systems, ventilation, and energy efficiency.
3. Producing detailed reports and recommendations in line with PAS 2035 guidelines.
4. Working closely with retrofit coordinators and design teams to develop improvement strategies.
5. Engaging with stakeholders, including local authorities, housing associations, and private clients.
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability targets.
7. Supporting the delivery of net-zero carbon and energy efficiency projects.

Retrofit Assessor - Job Requirements

1. Qualified Retrofit Assessor (Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor or equivalent).
2. Experience in conducting retrofit assessments and preparing reports.
3. Strong understanding of PAS 2035 and energy efficiency standards.
4. Excellent data collection, analytical, and reporting skills.
5. Proficiency in retrofit assessment software and Microsoft Office.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
7. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across London.
