Retention Adviser

We are looking for an experienced retention sales professional to join our award-winning team.

Uncapped earning opportunity - £25,000 basic + market leading uncapped commission + great benefits

Our recruitment process:

  1. We will review your CV and notify you if you have been selected to progress.
  2. If progressing, we will conduct a diary booked telephone chat.
  3. If that goes well, you will be invited to interview at our Milton Keynes office.

The role:

  • To contact our existing protected families who have cancelled policies to advise them on the best options available and to reinstate or rebroke as appropriate to reduce the company’s overall clawback.
  • Working as part of an Adviser team dealing with lapse plans that have been cancelled by our existing families to overcome objections and get them back on board and establish why they cancelled or taken cover elsewhere.
  • Day to day management of several clients at different stages of their application; you will quickly become a subject matter expert.
  • To join a team of around 120 Advisors across three UK offices. You will be working alongside some of the industry's very highest performers.
  • To achieve pre-agreed levels of new business to help protect the UK properly.
  • Flexible working with a 40-hour working week.

What we need from you:

  • Experience of working in a retention sales role, ideally within Insurance or other financial services.
  • Exceptional telephone manner.
  • The confidence to have detailed and personal conversations.
  • Superb listening skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills to accurately log all call information on our systems.
  • The ability to understand and work within a complex regulated industry.
  • The ability to work to, achieve, and exceed set targets.
  • The desire to become an expert in your field of work.
