Retail Travel Manager (Full Time Or Part Time)

Do you have experience as a Branch Manager or Assistant Manager within the Travel Industry?

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent travel agency based in Hertfordshire. My client is seeking an experienced, sales focused, target driven retail travel professional who is a strong and inspiring leader with previous travel retail sales management experience. You should also have previous experience in booking holidays face to face or on the telephone with a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Manage a small team of travel consultants
2. Book all aspects of a holiday face to face or on the phone
3. Promote the business to new markets and attend trade events
4. Organise daily workloads and delegate work to appropriate personnel
5. Monitor Team/individual performance throughout the day to ensure maximum productivity, enthusiasm and motivation

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. Experience as a Team Leader, Assistant Manager or Branch Manager
2. Proven sales experience in travel
3. Excellent understanding of the travel industry
4. Self-motivated and good ability to multitask
5. Effective questioning & listening
6. The ability to work under pressure

PACKAGE:

A very competitive basic salary of £27,000 - £28,000 (Depending on experience) + bonuses
FAM trips
Staff Parking

HOURS:

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5:00pm
Saturday: 9am - 3pm
Closed Sunday's and Bank Holidays.
