Base Salary £26,300, OTE £35,000 - £40,000

Location: Kent

Our client is the UK's premium luxury travel company specialising in worldwide beach destinations as well as luxury villas, escorted tours, river cruises, etc.

Due to growth, they are now seeking to recruit a Retail Travel Consultant to join their long-established team in their Bluewater branch to help curate inspiring travel arrangements for their discerning clientele.

This role is ideal for an experienced travel consultant from a tour operator or travel agency seeking structured career enhancement, 2 luxury FAM Trips per annum, and the opportunity to earn very generous commission based on performance.

Our client will also consider candidates who have worked as cabin crew or well-travelled graduates seeking the opportunity to develop a career within luxury travel.

Retail Travel Consultant Duties:

1. Arranging worldwide travel arrangements for clients across all holidays to destinations including Europe, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Africa, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
2. Booking and managing all travel extras including tours, airport lounges, car hire, insurance, etc.
3. Participating in luxury FAM trips to further develop personal product knowledge.
4. Liaising with suppliers.
5. Offering the highest levels of customer service.
6. Converting incoming enquiries to sales.
7. Building rapport with customers over the phone and face to face.

Retail Travel Consultant Experience Required:

1. Previous sales experience within the travel industry, either from a travel agency or tour operator, is essential.
2. Candidates who have worked as cabin crew or well-travelled graduates will also be considered.
3. Ability to build rapport with customers and deliver high levels of customer service.
4. Sales-driven with the ability to meet targets.

Retail Travel Consultant Salary and Benefits:

1. Base Salary of £26,300 + lucrative commission, OTE £35,000 to £40,000.
