Job Description

  1. Build collaborative relationships with store staff (whether generic or brand dedicated staff) and business units stakeholders. Engage all stakeholders in the Retail Excellence journey.
  2. Visit stores, observe shop floor conditions & activities as well as interactions to propose and lead a full year action plan with quarterly steps and achievements.
  3. Understand Travel Retail constraints, identify training needs and areas for improvement at shop/airport level, to perform operational and effective on-site training.
  4. Develop & follow-up training actions and monitor results in terms of people skills and business results.
  5. Provide Training Reports.
  6. Shadow and coach store staff to reveal their potential.
  7. Encourage sales staff to develop customer interaction and increase transformation.
  8. Motivate team members to achieve greater results.
  9. Provide guidance on visual merchandising.
  10. Liaise with local sales & marketing teams to align visions and ensure common sharing goals.
  11. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports. Monitor results & ensure action plan direction is always aligned with the ultimate goal.
  12. Propose new initiatives and implementation measures.
  13. Monitor Travel and Expenses budget.

The Successful Applicant

A successful retail training coach should have:

  1. 6 to 10 years' experience in learning & development, coaching or training.
  2. Drive, passion and natural energy to convince and engage teams.
  3. Flexible and agile approach to working, autonomous and outgoing.
  4. Committed and responsible.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Cheerful and ready to embrace company convivial values and spirit.
  7. Fluent in English.
  8. Travel Retail experience would be a plus.
  9. Must be happy traveling.
